As a new exterior eating and drinking space for an existing gastropub, the design assembled a palette of rough, tactile materials for a refined presentation. The integration of board form concrete planters anchored the yard into smaller spaces while its organic texture paired well with the plantings inside them. Mahogany and steel were chosen for the custom designed furniture, all sitting over a plane of reclaimed cobblestones, harvested from Philadelphia and installed here to start their second life.
